Coming to Rest

A meditation to help you slow down. Bring rest to the body by creating awareness of the ground supporting you, your breath flowing in and out, and your thoughts slowing down.

Paloma Cain (she/her), MA, psychology, works to bridge the worlds of traditional Buddhist practice and contemporary mindfulness in clinical settings, seeing the commonality as the desire to relieve suffering. Experienced in teaching MBSR, mindful parenting, foundations of mindfulness classes, daylongs, sitting groups, and short retreats, she now works primarily in training and mentoring. She is authorized to teach by Trudy Goodman and Jack Kornfield.

In her spare time, she’ll be found playing with her family, wandering open spaces, feeding people, reading, writing, and resting.

Turi is a LYB-certified instructor and serves on the board of her local Concussion Resource Center. Her other trainings and certifications include E-RYT200, RYT500 and YACEP, Heart of Sound: Mantra and Nada Yoga certified, iRest® Yoga Nidra Level 2 Teacher, and Holistic Health Coach. In addition, she is currently pursuing iRest full certification and a 300-hr Meditation Teacher Training through Mind Oasis.
