Self-Compassion

The intention of this meditation is to cultivate self-compassion and loving kindness towards your self. This meditation is for you if your inner critic is being loud, you are experiencing suffering, or you just need some connection and kindness.

Chris (she/her) lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is a yoga teacher, primarily teaching gentle Hatha, Yin, restorative and meditation practices. As well, Chris has previous experience working in the medical profession as a Registered Nurse, Registered Massage Therapist and Peer Support Worker. She expresses her passion for mental health as a writer for International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF). Having experienced her own TBI, she loves sharing the healing benefits of yoga and meditation with others in the brain injury community. Chris is LoveYourBrain Yoga certified, and has additional training in the anatomy of pain, the science of yoga and depression, cueing chair yoga and more. She is truly passionate about bringing the vast benefits of yoga and meditation to others.
