Go Green
Altruism | 4.25.2016 | By Daya Alexander Grant, PH.D., M.S.
In the spirit of Earth Day, let’s explore ways in which you can go green and benefit your brain health - simultaneously!
Shop for brain-boosting foods at the farmer’s market.
Not only is the produce fresher, but since it didn’t have to travel as far to reach your plate, you’re reducing your carbon footprint.
Walk or bike to work.
If that’s not feasible, take public transportation. Or, at the very least, carpool with someone.
Drink water from reusable bottles (like this one!)
Plant a garden
Connect with our beautiful Earth, while you improve your cognition.
Keep the intention around Earth Day, and Earth Month, alive by finding creative ways to go green, while also positively affecting your brain.
