About me: I believe I lead with humor, vulnerability, and a decent amount of nerdiness. I draw from my brain injury experience (since 2014), my undergraduate education in biopsychology and neuroscience, and my prior work in neurological rehabilitation. I'm currently completing a postbac program through the University of Michigan's Medical School and conducting research that investigates holistic student well-being in higher education.

Why LYB: After experiencing the life changing effects of LYB’s programming first hand, it's a privilege to pay it forward and play a small role in others' healing journeys. There is something absolutely infectious about being part of such an accepting, resilient, and open community. I truly believe I become a better version of myself with each LYB encounter. Plus, there are very few environments where I can teach basic neuroscience AND rock a cow onesie :)
