LYB Mindset Facilitator
About me: I am a 500-E-RYT yoga and meditation teacher since 2014, with over thirty years of personal practice. In addition to LYB, I have completed trainings and certifications in Therapeutic yoga, Accessible Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga. My professional background is in social justice non-profit management. I too am a survivor of a TBI and experienced firsthand the benefits of yoga and meditation while moving forward in life.
Why LYB: I’m so honored to be a part of LYB and hold space for people who experienced TBI and their caregivers- and to offer tools to help them in their ongoing journey. I have been aware of the important work of LYB and am excited to help facilitate these incredible programs and share these important tools of yoga and mindfulness because I have experienced the benefits myself and believe in these programs. As a TBI survivor and a yoga teacher, I have a balance of the lived and learned experiences and compassion for individuals who may be experiencing challenges or curiosities. I look forward to holding space and facilitating an experience for others to explore their resiliency and any intention they bring to the space.
Superhero: I am in awe of anyone who has survived trauma and is doing what they can to show up in their present moment.
Resources: I currently teach public and private yoga classes and workshops in-person in Santa Barbara, CA and online.
