Rest and Digest
This is a short practice of sensing the body as a way of activating the relaxation response. Tension can build up in the body without us even noticing. As we bring kind, gentle attention to the body and breath, tension may naturally dissolve and reveal a sense of underlying ease and well-being.
Turi Hetherington is a yoga instructor, especially drawn to the quieting practices of gentle yoga and meditation to reduce stress and tension in the body and find the quiet place behind the busy thinking mind. She lives in Bozeman, Montana, and loves to hike, run, ski and play in the surrounding mountains. She finds nature to be her greatest teacher.
