A message from Kevin Pearce

Hey everyone,

I’m excited to share some incredible news with the LoveYourBrain community: my brother and LoveYourBrain’s Executive Director, Adam Pearce, has been named a 2023 CNN Hero!

Growing up, Adam was always someone I looked up to - his integrity, big heart, and belief in others’ potential lifted up everyone around him. As brothers, we were inseparable.

Then, everything in my life changed - and without question, he dropped everything to be right by my side.

When I was healing after my brain injury, Adam showed up for me so I could piece my life back together. He spent countless hours with me in rehab - drawing on our competitiveness to make it fun and engaging. He listened and got quiet when I needed space to process what I was going through. And, together, we discovered new depths about our own inner resilience during the most challenging time of our lives.

I feel so lucky to have a brother who has always seen the possibility in me - and 9 years ago, we set out to build a world where millions of people could see their own.

Today, because of Adam’s exceptional leadership and compassion, LoveYourBrain has brought hope, healing, and possibility to over 35,000 people affected by brain injury. In my own life, I’m thriving with two amazing kids (one born just last week!), an incredible wife, and so much love for my brother.

Adam, we started something incredible together, and you’ve never stopped seeing what’s possible - for me, and this community. Thank you for being there every step of the way - and then some.
